There Has Been - and Always Shall Be - Batsu Game

Mike and Tim had a great podcasting session this weekend in Topeka (Tim lives there now and Mike was in town for an event).  We've got four more episodes of the podcast recorded and ready to edit.

Here's our update on recent batsu games:

The Green Bay batsu game: Mike and Tim each had to do Four Words - the same Four Words for each.  The Four Words wound up being something related to Mike's event: Southeast, Kansas, Democrats, Barbecue.

The New England batsu game: Apparently, the New England Patriots have a fight song.  Mike's batsu: recite the words to said fight song.

Tim's NFL picks batsu: In a situation similar to Mike's first batsu game regarding the Pitt State shirt, Tim's Houston Texans shirt is on the way.

New team batsu game: Manchester City won the 2015-16 Football League Cup 1-1 (3-1 on penalties) over Liverpool this afternoon.  Mike had a compelling reason to pick the Reds, while Tim picked them at the last second though remembering he had picked them to win the 2014-15 UEFA Champions League.

Batsu games to be determined: the second leg of this year's Champions League will be played in the coming weeks.  Tim's pick (Real Madrid) is up 2-0 on aggregate over Roma, while Mike's pick (Juventus) is tied 2-2 on aggregate with Bayern Munich.

Next recording session will be back in KC with our annual NCAA basketball tournament picks and our 2016 MLB preview.
